About The Event
Project Owl-Net is back at Kettle Creek this year, and Jackie and Darryl Speicher have reserved one night at Kettle Creek exclusively for PHLT members. This once-a-year evening demonstration gives participants the chance to see owl research in action. Trained volunteers safely capture, band, measure, and release owls as part of a long-term monitoring project. You'll learn about saw-whet owls, migration, and the important role these nighttime birds play in our ecosystem.
