Bird Banding at ForEvergreen

Come join Jackie and Darryl Speicher at ForEvergreen Preserve for our bird banding morning! You’ll get to see colorful birds like American robins, yellow warblers, indigo buntings, and more up close as we carefully catch, measure, and band them before releasing them back into the wild. Each bird gets a small silver band on its right leg to help track its journey. These special early morning willl happen while it’s still cool out. It’s a great chance to learn about birds and enjoy the beauty of nature!
