The class will focus on the art of watercolor batik. Participants will paint a bear in a tree looking into a house through a window. Then, Elaine will guide participants through the process of using melted paraffin wax to maintain white space and add the classic batik “crackles” to the piece. Finished pieces will be mounted for matting and framing.
