About The Event
Learn to Geocache! (for ages 10+)
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure-hunting game where participants use GPS devices or smartphone apps to find hidden containers (called "geocaches") at specific locations.
These caches are registered online, and when found, participants can sign a logbook and, optionally, trade small items or "swag" before re-hiding the cache for others to find. The activity combines technology with outdoor adventure, encouraging exploration of new places and enjoying fresh air.
Geocaches can take you to spots that you would normally never find…places of natural beauty, historical significance, and other interesting spots!
